Halloween in Brevard

We left for the hills on Friday evening so the boys could spend Halloween here.  The younger four got all dressed up to walk in the downtown  parade.

Meet Professor Bent.  He's a little crazy from so much time in the lab:

How cute!  What is he?  Is he a traffic light?  What does he have on his head?  These are the comments Robot Joseph heard walking down the street.

Put out your cigarettes please!

Bzzz....bzzzz.....Yellow duct tape is great stuff.  Nathan's looking for a flower!

Jesse seemed to have lost his head!

We all missed you, too, Mom! I'm trying to live up to my promise - never buy a halloween costume. It gets more fun as the boys get older - they are pretty experienced at dress up, but this trip we were without our magic dress up wardrobe. Thankfully grandad came to the rescue. He didn't know he had so many costumes in his closet until we started digging around. He contributed: big black fur hat, white short sleeve shirt (aka lab coat), glasses frames, calculator, pens (sadly he had thrown away all his pocket protectors), the headless horseman shirt and the hanger to make his shoulders. Grandmom fetched the robot hat out of the garage, but the rest of Joseph's costume was Mommy and Daddy having too much fun in Walmart. Sadly we had to put back the big black boots and some other bells and whistles because we had a budget to stick to!
